Quality — ISO 9001
Process control, consistency and the paper trail that proves it.

Department: Quality Control and Clinical Excellence
ISO is the discipline that proves you are controlled, consistent, safe and audit-ready. In the Cure Alliance model it is the backbone, because almost every other service leans on the evidence it produces.
Without ISO, a buyer assumes inconsistent processes, uncontrolled risks, weak governance, unreliable delivery, poor evidence and high operational volatility.
None of that may be true of you. It does not matter. In a tender, the assumption is what gets scored.
Buyers, especially OEMs and Tier-1s, use ISO as a risk filter. If you have it, you are low risk. If you do not, you are high risk, regardless of how good you actually are.
People think ISO is paperwork. It is not. ISO is predictability, and predictability is what buyers want and pay for.
Process control, consistency and the paper trail that proves it.
Environmental responsibility built into how the business runs.
The certified extension of your day-to-day safety discipline.
Management reviews, internal audits, document control and risk-based thinking.

ISO 9001:2026 is the new version of the quality standard, published on 16 September 2026. Certified organisations have until 30 September 2029 to transition, after which ISO 9001:2015 certificates expire or are withdrawn. The main changes are quality culture and ethical behaviour, separate requirements for risks and opportunities, and stronger change management. Plan the move at your next recertification rather than leaving it to the deadline.
For most small and mid-sized manufacturers, ISO 9001 takes three to six months, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 four to six months, and ISO 27001 six to twelve months. Certificates then run on a three-year cycle with annual surveillance audits. Start at least six months before the tender you are aiming for.
ISO 9001 is the one asked for most, because buyers use it as a risk filter for quality. ISO 14001 covers environmental management, ISO 45001 health and safety, and ISO 27001 information security where sensitive data is shared. Some OEMs and Tier-1s also expect sector standards, such as IATF 16949 in automotive or AS9100 in aerospace.
