Strategy & Readiness
Tender readiness assessments and bid strategy built around the scoring criteria.

Compliance only wins contracts if it is communicated the way evaluators score. Manufacturers who clear every hurdle still lose regularly on weak quality or methodology answers.
Without dedicated bid writing, the bid itself under-delivers strong capability reads as a weak, generic answer, evidence exists but never reaches the section that would score it, responses answer what you want to say, not what was asked, inconsistent quality across sections written by different people and submissions rushed and non-compliant with format requirements.
You can be the best manufacturer on the list and still come fourth, because someone else answered the question that was actually asked.
Most manufacturers think tenders are won by writing. High-performing manufacturers know they are won by evidence. If the fifteen sections before this one are in order, the bid almost writes itself, because every answer already has a document behind it.
Tender writing is not writing documents. It is strategic storytelling backed by evidence, and this is where the whole model pays off.

Hire a bid writer if you're getting through the buyer's pass or fail checks and losing marks on your written answers. Hire a bid consultant if you're being ruled out before your answers count, or you don't know why you keep losing. How to tell from the last tender you lost
Usually because the answer did not match the question, not because the capability was missing. Evaluators mark quality and method statements against published criteria, in the order they are written. A generic answer that talks about what you do well, rather than what was asked, loses marks even when the evidence exists somewhere in the business. Answer in scoring order, and put a document behind every claim.
At least 10% of the total score on central government contracts. Under PPN 002, central government departments, agencies and non-departmental public bodies must give social value a minimum 10% weighting on procurements under the Procurement Act 2023 started on or after 1 October 2025. On a close contest, that 10% is often the whole margin between first and second.
An evidence library you can draw on in minutes. That means current certificates, your insurance schedule, the last two or three years of accounts, your key policies, three recent case studies, a training matrix and, for larger government work, a published Carbon Reduction Plan. Review it every quarter, not the week a bid arrives.
