Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement
Last updated: October 2026
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines the steps Your Best Solution Limited ("YBSL") has taken and continues to take to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our business or supply chains.
About Our Business
Your Best Solution Limited is a UK-based compliance and business advisory consultancy. We coordinate 16 specialist partners (the Cure Alliance) to help UK manufacturers, construction firms, and facilities management companies achieve compliance readiness and win public-sector tenders.
- Company Number: 16983435
- Business Model: Service delivery through partner coordination (not procurement-heavy)
- Employees: Founder/Principal Consultant (sole trader structure)
- Supply Chain: Specialist partners, cloud providers, software vendors
Our Commitment
YBSL is committed to the highest standards of ethical business practice. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour in any form — whether in our own operations, our supply chains, or those of our clients' organisations we advise.
Policies and Procedures
1. Our Own Operations
As a small consultancy, our direct operations carry minimal modern slavery risk:
- Employment: All team members (including partner coordinators and contractors) are engaged through legitimate employment contracts with fair wages, written terms, and statutory protections.
- Verification: We verify right-to-work status for all new team members.
- Working conditions: We ensure safe, healthy working conditions and comply with UK employment law, including the National Living Wage.
- No harsh treatment: We have zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, or any form of exploitative treatment.
2. Our Supply Chain
We work with specialist partners (Cure Alliance members) and software vendors. Our approach:
- Partner vetting: When onboarding specialists to our Cure Alliance, we assess their compliance credentials, including their own modern slavery policies.
- Ethical sourcing: We work with reputable software vendors (HubSpot, GitHub, Microsoft, etc.) who publish their own modern slavery statements and ethical supply chain commitments.
- Transparency: We expect our partners to be transparent about their supply chains and labour practices.
- Escalation: If we become aware of any potential modern slavery risk in our supply chain, we will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include terminating the relationship.
3. Client Services
When delivering Health Assessments and compliance advisory to our clients:
- We help clients assess their own modern slavery risks as part of our compliance diagnostics.
- We coordinate specialist partners (HR, procurement, supply chain) to help clients close gaps in their modern slavery governance.
- We emphasise modern slavery as a material ESG and reputational risk, especially for organisations supplying to UK public sector buyers.
Risk Assessment
YBSL's risk profile for modern slavery is low due to:
- Business model: We are a service-based consultancy with no manufacturing, production, or logistics operations.
- Geographic focus: We operate in the UK and work with established, regulated service providers and specialists.
- Supply chain visibility: We work with fewer than 20 partner organisations, all of which are known, professional service providers.
- Transparency requirements: Our Cure Alliance partners are typically ISO-certified, UKAS-accredited, or regulated professionals (solicitors, accountants, auditors), all subject to their own modern slavery and ethical obligations.
Training and Awareness
YBSL ensures:
- All team members and key partner coordinators understand what modern slavery is and how to spot red flags.
- We maintain awareness of UK modern slavery laws and regulatory developments.
- We communicate our modern slavery expectations to new specialist partners when they join the Cure Alliance.
